Ribbon Cutting for Safe Home held January 24

The Safe Home project on the corner of 3rd and Minnesota Avenue is nearing completion in Sioux Falls, SD.  The $3.47 million Minnehaha County project has 33 studio units where the chronically homeless can live.  The facility is meant for people who struggle with finding a safe place to live and sleep every day.   In addition, the county is saves money providing shelter for those who utilize the facility.

The building construction is complete and will begin accepting residents in the next few weeks.  The Ribbon Cutting ceremony recognized all those involved in the planning, design and construction of the facility, including Perspective, which provided archtictural and interior design services.
