SIOUX FALLS, SD – There’s no need for a shuttle or a taxi for travelers who spend the night at AeroStay. With many people around the area, Brookings, Watertown, Aberdeen, that do have those early morning flights they like to save themselves that early morning drive. Guests are able to wake up and head straight to the terminal to catch their flight.
“It’s just really convenient to be able to fly in and go get some rest the next day, without being concern about where the next airport is at and driving there. It’s just a whole lot more convenient we’ll definitely stay here again,” pheasant hunter Raider Campbell said.
“We have had great positive feedback everyday and they really enjoy the place so we’re just going to keep doing what we’re doing,” assistant hotel manager Rachel Hatch said.
This is Campbell’s first time staying at the hotel, but he comes to South Dakota every year with his hunting group.
“We wouldn’t go anywhere else. We have a great outfitter that we go with every year and we don’t even consider going anywhere else,” Campbell said.
Hatch tells KELOLAND News that people are already starting to book rooms incase the weather is bad.
“Just to guarantee they have room which is really smart right now because I really feel that once the snow start to fall that we’re going to fill really fast,” Hatch said.
And being next to the airport has some perks not only for the guests but also the staff.
“It’s really neat to see the different types of people that come through,” Hatch said. “Not only do I have someone from California, but I have someone from Czechoslovakia. We may have language barrier, but I can still tell they’re happy and that they like staying here, and it’s a great place from them.”
